menu coverThe Villa Palmer Lake has rolled out a series of announcements, enhancements and exciting changes, which include a new menu, special Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night offerings and new hours!


The Villa’s new fall menu includes roasted duck with orange plum sauce, osso buco, butternut squash ravioli with walnut brown butter sauce, roasted beet salad and so many more new offerings designed to respond to our natural tendency toward fall harvest foods and flavors at this time of year. 


But the Villa’s new menu includes some wonderful customer favorites from the old B&E menu, brought back because of the volume of requests for some of his signature dishes from Chef Chris Bohler’s loyal customer base.  “Although our customers are enjoying our Italian fare, they have also requested that we add some of their favorites from when we owned the B&E, and who are we to say “no”?” noted Villa Palmer Lake co-owner Kerri Bohler. “What makes the restaurant business so meaningful and enjoyable for us as a family is the continuing opportunity to serve our customers delicious, nurturing food that they enjoy, always striving as well to make it a memorable experience for them!”


In the coming months, you will see a transition away from a core traditional Italian format to something that brings together the stylish food of B & E days with Italian and other culinary styles as The Villa moves forward to coming into its own. The Bohlers are also doing a bit of redecorating to align with their expanded menu choices, “While our heritage and tradition in this lovely and historic building is one of traditional Italian, we wanted to make both the building and our menu more relevant for ‘today!’ observed Chris Bohler.  “This will soon include a new logo and some redecorating inside to bring a fresh feel to a wonderful old place, and we are very excited and energized by these changes,” added Chris. There’s only one way to really view the new decorating at The Villa – come for dinner!

The Villa is also offering several weekday specials to respond to the needs and desire of their weekday patrons.


Every Tuesday is Wine Lovers’ Night, where all bottles of wine will be half price, excluding a small handful of offerings on The Villa’s reserve list.  The Villa’s wine and bar menu can be viewed by CLICKING HERE.


On Wednesdays, Villa patrons can enjoy Local’s Night, where The Villa will offer a buffet of two pastas – one vegetarian, one non-vegetarian –along with fresh-baked focaccia bread, a large bowl of fresh salad and even a dessert for the amazing price of $10 and $5 for kids under 10.  What constitutes a local?  “We aren’t going to check your ID for your address,” said Kerri Bohler, laughing.  “Wednesday is often a mid-week point when folks just want to go out for an easy, affordable meal and we wanted to provide that!” she added. “Our customers and local patrons feel like family to us and we wanted to better serve the needs of their work-week dynamic,” she remarked.


Thursdays brings perhaps the most exciting offering of all – Date Night! The Villa’s Date Night offers a prix fixe menu that provides a shared appetizer, two entrees and a shared dessert, all for $50.  “The choices from our prix fixe menu are exciting and numerous,” said Rachel Bohler. Whether for a romantic dinner at one of their fireside tables, or just a dinner for two friends, The Villa’s Date Night offering is fast becoming one of the most popular offerings in the area and reservations are highly recommended!


Finally, The Villa has new fall hours:  Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday The Villa is open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  On Friday and Saturday, The Villa is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Call (719) 481-2222 after 2 p.m. for a reservation.  The Villa is closed every Monday.
